Friday Firsts

Thought I would post some of the 'firsts' that happened to me on Friday.

1. First time to Tallahassee.
2. Flying from Charlotte, NC back to DC we hit terrible turbulence and there was a 22-year-old that was sitting next to me she called her mom when we landed and said, "I was really freaked out, but I'm sitting next to an older lady, and she made me feel comforted." Older lady...YIKES!! Oh to be 22 again.
3. While walking into the hockey game (last night), the DC police just finished sectioning off a crime scene. Someone had just been stabbed or shot not sure, but blood was everywhere. Real comforting. I guess there is a good reason for Mike getting his concealed weapons permit. Maybe I should take my own class. Don't loose sleep Dad we are totally fine.
4. First time I was away from my kiddos for longer than 8 hours (except for my appendectomy). Missed them terribly.
5. First time I flew out of Dulles National Airport and hated it. Too many trams.

Please tell me that there was a grandma on the other side of her because surely she wasn't talking about you. It makes you want to say, "Careful not to blink, sweetheart, because in that amount of time, you'll become me."

Get your concealed weapons permit fast! Robb and I got ours a couple years ago.
Obama will probably crack down on permits real fast, if he hasn't already... and get your hand guns while you can!
