Mike has been fabulous! He took 2 1/2 days off of work (this is a huge deal since he has some much vacation & NEVER takes time off). Anyway, I stayed at the Sheraton on Virginia Beach. Got to spend some much needed quite time walking the beach and just enjoying being by myself.
The coding conference was...just another conference.
I even got to eat at this tasty joint a couple of times...just missed some of my NOLA pals. It reminded me of our many dinning-out date nights at this place. The only thing missing was great debates and sarcastic comments from Super-Brent and L.
Not a great pic of me, but no one else was around to document my trip on the Atlantic Coast. It was very chilly since a Nor'easter was blowing in....

They have a Bravo in VA Beach?! Okay, we definitely have to make the trip. I miss that place (and the great company too). Glad you were able to get away and clear your head.
Nice to have some quiet time. Good luck with the baby. It is amazing how much goes into bringing a life into this world. (Unless you are 15 and drunk...)
