Mike got back from England/Brussels over a week ago, and I wanted to post what David thought of his trip gift.
He requested (of course) a car. Mike found a car puzzle and an official soccer (football) uniform. The night Mike home, David was asleep, so the next morning I (while I'm laying in bed) heard little foot steps down the stairs to find out what his Dad brought him back from the big trip.
The next thing I hear are those same foot steps running up the stairs. David said, "Mom, dad's present is NOT so cool."
I tried so hard not to laugh, but thought it was very original. Mike on the other hand felt a little destroyed. Such a classic David expression.
